My funniest & best Steemit work yet! A comical rant about the Remora Fish
With sloppy internet research and messy animation, I investigate the mysterious remora and try to find out why it sucks so much! This video includes a slightly inaccurate historical reenactment as well as music from World Beyond.Stay tuned for tomorrow's post!

Ever notice how I take a while to answer your comments? It's as though I'm nervous about saying something too short and stupid like, "Gr8, thx 4 cmt. Gtg" or something XD
I definitely have fun doing these, still figuring out a way to keep them consistent though... what's great is I can 'recycle' characters now, the dopey guy for starters... and I'm sure Cleopatra will show up again soon...
I have a script done up for the next one... maybe I can record tonight. The first one I recorded took over 20 minutes, but last time it only took 12, so I'm getting more comfortable with recording.

The same article that mentioned the Battle of Actium also spoke of the link between remoras and Caligula's assassination. A remora on the rudder stalled the ship until his men mutinied. No big loss, he was a terrible guy!

Dear I work with interior designers to make 3d models for them and also do some freelancing. If you get any 3d projects to be done, I will do it for you. You can take the projects from the clients and pass them to me.

Well, bare minimum, the remora has some quirky and questionable habits...
But yep, I don't have a problem with fishes of any type...

Very funny and informative! If I ever see the Remora on a menu I will know to steer clear. The Cleopatra voice is wonderful and hilarious almost like you had to go lower to get higher... whose the creepy ghost face that repeats "I like turtles?"
With the Cleo face, it might have been better if i didn't pause every few words, but I guess that added to the humour and suspense CX

I probably saw that video clip a long time ago its very funny the way you incorporate it into the story and just as funny without remembering the reference. Also, I didn't notice any excessive pausing the timing seemed right on to me!

In your last animation you asked if we would accept/like/support you if you made them more simple.... Everyone said it was ok! BUT what we have here is one animation that definitely looks like took more hours and effort to make!

Yes, there's definitely a parallel between real remora and Steemit remora. Both are really clingy!

Oh I'm terribly inefficient. It took at least 12 hours just to gather all the photos, cut the backgrounds out and prep them for animation. I'll detail my process soon...
Right now, my lack of efficiency is endangering this series, so I really need to water down the animation...

That's pretty awesome... somehow, what kept coming to mind is that this could become Steemit's own version of Zee Frank's "True Facts" channel on YouTube... there are some amazing (tongue-in-cheek) opportunities with the native "wildlife" just here on Steemit...
