The crew of The U.S.S. Minnowprize recently landed on the largest sand island in the world!

Fraser Island!
Aside from the blistering sun, snakes, and spiders, the most notorious danger of Fraser Island are wild dingos! They are adorable looking little doggos that can be pretty dangerous when in a pack!

Well, the crew had just finished a large feed (and perhaps a couple drinks) at the local mess tent. While inside, we witnessed a kookaburra have a head on collision with a large pane of glass. It was assumed that this would be the only wildlife encounter of the day.
We were wrong.
We wandered towards the disegnated death stick devouring area, perhaps a bit lopsided, smelling of freshly consumed pizza, and perhaps a little giggly. While we sat in the darkness, backed up to the woods in the chairs provided for smelly lepers such as ourselves, we heard a noise.
The co-pilot looked up to spot a dingo moving close to the restaraunt itself, looking quite intent. There was no reason to panic, as it was not aggressive, perhaps just a little hungry. And to it's credit, the smell is what originally drew us in, as well.
The Captain stood up and made himself look big and fierce.

The dingo immediately realized that this was a man to not fuck with, and swiftly made it's way back into the woods.
The staff was notified, so the rangers could check him out, and we stumbled on our way.
As we meandering down the road, perhaps in a zig zagging fashion, a sound was heard in the pitch black tree line.
A rapid, loud noise.
That got closer.
Very quickly.
Urrrrhmm...

We turned around to see a young dingo running up behind us.
The stomping of feet, brandishing of sticks, and loud noises commenced.
We carried on our way after he ran back into the bush, somewhat more damp with sweat at the brazeness of this pup.
Until we heard another noise behind us.

The little shit was back and trotting up behind us!
More noises
foot stomping
Captain cracks huge stick on the huge into a million pieces of shrapnel
YIPE YIPE YIPE
infinite sweating and high stepping back to the resort commences
Once inside and reporting to the front desk what we encountered, we were informed that there was a DINGO BAR.
Naturally, having our buzz slightly damaged, we thought... time to drink at the Dingo Bar to round out the evening. Why wouldn't we?
And it was awesome.
We arrived to find an empty bar, just how we like it!
And soon enough, in the late hours we were joined by the resort staff!
Come to find out, this Dingo likes to follow one of the ladies that works here, who also has red hair. He probably thought the co-pilot was her and since he has a schedule he was coming out to "walk her home from work". He is an adolescent pup that has been separated from his family and is pretty friendly!
Well, here is to more drinks and more dingos!

Good news, we are going on vacation, and you're coming with us!
