What value does literacy provide for a class of people who are functionally illiterate?
I had this argument with someone the other day about us being smarter. Yes, we technically are but, how we use the tools is what matters.

This is an oversimplification that doesn't hold up to reality. Majority that are intellectuals are same time incompetent in the physical world.
