This is going to be my betting log/blog for 2017
I am a small time punter who have been using this method for having fun gambling and keeping discipline.
Not having my eye sight replaced with dollar signs and betting on everything trying to win money and only thinking of the pay out.
This is not a method for people wanting to place a bet and win a bunch of money, this is more a method for placing a bet because you enjoy punting and cheering on a result.
The method is simple work out what you can afford to lose in a month without getting upset, in my case around $20.
And trying to make it last has long has possible without needing to top up again, my record 7 months in 2015.
If you lose your money before the end of the month you can't top up till the 1st of the next month, so if you lose discipline on the first week or day and lose drain out your account you have the rest of month to review where you went wrong,
this is when you pick loads of winning bets that you did not back because you are waiting till the end of the month, you will really hate this at first but over the months you will learn to take your time gambling, the aim of the game is not to lose or at least make your budget last till the end of the month, and you can do this by not betting. no point winning $100,000 if you are just going to lose $100,001 the next day.
I was looking for a bitcoin betting site that took uk horse racing bets and came across betbtc.co on newyears day, so i have picked this site for 2017.
Was waiting for someone to make a bitcoin betting exchange and while this site is small, its looks pretty good for what i was looking for, wanted a bitcoin site has having the money in my betting account in BTC allows me to be detached from viewing this has money and more has points. Also this site is pretty light and works fine on my moblie phone so far. Will be usful if i want to place a bet while watching the race or match at the high street betting office.
Will be using this has a opportunity to review betbtc.co and making a punting log/blog on steemit.
Do i trust betbtc.co so far yes and i am not putting large amounts of money in there. Would be nice if someone can you use graphene to make a more trustless betting exchange were coin holder's can vote in delegates they trust to settle bets, but for now this is the best i can find and hope to see it grow over the year.
I opened a account on betbtc.co yesterday, i used my bitshares account to send 5,000 bts ( in bitshares i can convert and send to btc address from within wallet) worth about 0.019 btc to the wrong address has i did not copy and paste has my bitshares wallet was on other laptop and lost that, ended up sending 660bts worth 0.002 and tested out the site with that, could not test withdraw's yet has min to withdraw on betbtc.co is 0.005, opening a account is simple, click on 'Quick Registration' enter a username and passwd, accept the TOS and do the i'm not a robot captcha, and thats it :) you can also do anonymous bets but i have not tested this out yet.
Today i am going to transfer 0.018 btc to account and use that for this months punting, when i first transferred funds to this account yesterday it took around 25mins for me to be able to use funds, today it was instant, but one thing i sent using open.btc from my bitshares wallet 0.18 which became 0.01799999 and recived 0.01769999 in my betbtc.co account. not a big deal just a note(guessing fee's but not sure who they went to).
I will be reviewing this site has i use it but for now i should point out that min bet is 0.00001 and that betbtc takes a "Comission Charged 4.00% on Market Winnings" and you can cancel unmatched bets also you can NOT do eachway/placed bets on horse racing.

at 11:07AM GMT Took price of 1.47 and placed 0.005 btc
at same time price on betfair was 1.50 and on williamhill it was 1.40 so not a bad price.
I now have 0.01371080 (Available) and 0.00707000 (in play)
