Good post. I agree with most of it but right now I am having fun with ElderScrollsOnline on the PS4. I am really just soloing it and what is keeping me in is the fully voiced stories and beautiful vistas.

Edit: Also some people are not able to gather a group of people to play read D&D so this is a good alternative! For a non-grind experience I highly recommend Pillars Of Eternaty (not an mmo though).
