LaserChain: First Strategy War Game on Blockchain

I came across LaserChain yesterday when a Filipino friend from LIT shared it as one of his picture post. But it was late in the night so I decided to check it out today.

Their one-pager alone looks pretty interesting but what really made me want to check it out, which I didn't regret one bit, was the Proof-of-play (POP) concept of how players could mine it's cryptocurrency, Laser, in game!

As I've been told that it's an addictive game and it is!

So the cryptocurrency Laser is collectable in-game at anytime and you start accumulating 0.01 per hour at the beginning of the game. This is the actual Laser that you can either take out into wallets or exchanges to trade them or use them in-game to build your base and expand your empire.

As you upgrade your base, you'll be able to mine more Laser/hour which I suppose is the mechanism to their ecosystem where users won't just mine and withdraw everything they mine but to balance the value by spending them in-game.

Let's just say it's a "Clash of Clan" type of game that you can get gems in-game but those gems are tradable outside of the game. Absolutely awesome!

Another factor that makes a difference to mining would be the number of players. So the more players mining, the lesser piece of the pie everyone gets.

Anyway, hopefully before anyone reads this and downloads it, I would've mine a considerable amount of Laser. haha.

Only 500 downloads in the Google Play store of the game at the moment. So it's super early adoption and of course like any game or blockchain project, it might disappear by this time next year. So we'll see what happens but in the mean time, I'll be mining them Laser and having fun while at it.
