Papers Please is a dystopian document thriller made by Lucas Pope.

As an immigration officer you have to control travel documents of people traveling to a fictive country called Arstotzka. The goal is to control as many people as possible within one day without violating the ever changing rules of the immigration ministry. If you make too many mistakes or if you're too slow, it can be that your family doesn't have enough money at the end of the day. In this case you have to make hard decision like turning not buying medicine for sick family members or skipping the dinner for one day. Additionally to the basic work of checking travel documents, the game offers an intriguing main plot with 20 different endings and a number of side-stories. It traps the players in a conflict where he has to decide between the interests of his own family, his duty for the country and being a human.

Glory to Arstotzka! ;-)
