Pokemon Go Plus

in #games8 years ago

Pokémon Go is the hottest app these days and made everyone chasing these mysterious creatures across the world using their mobile. The constant occupation with this sport ...however, will take over your device and if you want to do other things then you will have a problem. To avoid all unnecessary use of your smartphone, battery drain and focus on other activities beyond hunting Pokemons, Nintendo created Pokémon Go plus. This is a special device that connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth and lets you know about various events in the game.

The search and capture of Pokemons becomes much easier, as the device alerts you for wild Pokemon that are in your scope and PokeStops from where you can collect various items. You can wear it on your wrist with a strap that is provided or hang it on your clothes in order to have easy access to it. When it flashes and vibrates you press the
button and automatically throws a Pokeball to the wild Pokémon. In adition when you pass by a PokeStop, it notifies you to receive through your smartphone the various items that lying there like Pokeballs, revives, eggs etc.

It works on iOS 8 or higher, Android 4.4 or higher and on devices with Bluetooth BLE( Bluetooth4.0 ), GPS and Service Location . The application must be running in order transmit valid information to and from the Pokemon Go Plus.

p.s.
It is not the most elegant accessory out there... but ok you gotta catch em all!

Its not a bad accessory but I think it takes all the fun out of playing the game. If all you need to do is press a button then it kills the actual spirit of the game.

To me the accessory just feels like a way to milk more money out of people.

thats an interesting device. i installed that app, but i was to impatienct and de-installed it again....

if you have time, please have a look at my new post

I wonder why they wouldn't work on an extension app for the wearables, especially Apple Watch.

I understand their decision to sell a device, but people who already own a smart wearable probably won't get another one that will only help you with catching Pokemons.

They could have worked on a little more complicated device that could do some tracking and notifying built around the concept of Pokemon - and help you catch them.

Having that said, $35 is not a high price.

I would like normal pokemon hunting... :P

haven't heard of this before.

My dream is to one day hold in my hand a Nintendo developed cell phone with a catalogue of all their vintage games at my finger tips.

Nintendo Classic Mini , a mini version of NES with 30 plug in and play games will come out soon its not a cell phone but its a workaround

I wouldn't pay extra just for a bracelet.. Definitely not worth it. There's now apps coming out that will tell you where Pokemon are located.
