[Black Ops 4] Is it really the end of the Call of Duty saga? Analysis

Activision, in partnership with the Treyarch studio, presented their big bet for 2018: Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, neither more nor less than the fourth installment of the series of first-person shooter videogames.

All of us had the opportunity to play a Call of Duty game and many of us grew up with it´s saga. To the point of falling in love with the essence of a shooter game,  in first person, warlike, in which the action develops largely from the eyes of the character.

It was not until Black ops 2 that the futuristic world was introduced to Call of Duty, it was the first video game of the franchise that introduced the idea of

taking a leap into the future; unlike its two predecessors, Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops, which were established in the near future and in the Cold War, respectively.

At first, the idea of

a futuristic world was very hated and rejected by most gamers, thinking that the game´s essence would becomen just like a Halo. But ironically, only the exit of the game to the market was enough for it to become a resounding success in sales and the most loved game by all gamers. it is enough to see the popular critics, cataloged as "the best multiplayer" and not to mention the zombies, a masterpiece.

Activision now surprises us again when, at the beginning of the year, the fourth installment of the Black Ops saga is revealed to us, but, after low blows like ghost, infinite warfare and Worl War 2, people were eceptive about this new delivery, saying things like "it will only be another BO3 updated and with boots on the ground", It could not be further from reality.

Now that the first BO4 gameplays have been revealed to the world, if you keep thinking like that, you're not a very good observer. The only thing that it has as BO3 are the colors, a little the skins and the specialists, but the truth is about a completely different game, the game system has changed completely and there are several different game modes, besides the inclusion for the first time in the history of the franchise, the battle royale (Blackout). And the zombies that they present, promise to have a great history and to give the stature with the best that until now there have been.

If we want to compare it with a previous Call of Duty, it would be more like a BO2 but much more dynamic. And what happens if you take the best multiplayer in history, and add more dynamism? well, the words are too much. Now we have a more diverse gameplay, with many different options to mix and make our game strategy, you can make a group with your friends and each one of them fulfill a specific function to get involved and be the best in the world!
