Is it the end if piracy era?
Since the beginning of gaming era. Piracy of gaming started growing day by day. Many torrent sites were introduced with anonymous owners. With games movies were also pirates.
Recently thepiratebay, one of the biggest torrent site faced some difficulties due to illegal stuff but unfortunately it survived.
The owner of kickass was arrested closing the site forever. After that many sites like torrentz.eu and extratorrent were closed removing the most used torrent sites from the game.
With these sites gone forever. Only few ones are left for the pirates.
I have been using torrents and also piratebay itself since like 2001 and I will say that its most definatley on the decline. Also with ipfs, the tech itself is now challenged. I feel like sites like lbry, dtube, and such that use ipfs will become the most popular way for piracy to exist, and torrents and torrent sites will continue to deline. Torrents are good for file sharing and distrobution but its changed to more legit things now for sure!
