It is entertaining! Well I feel bad complimenting it now, as I've played it through with two first difficulties and now I'm stuck so I switched to Dark Souls 2 which is easier.
But I can tell you, Dead Cells has a great combat mechanism and enough variety to keep players entertained for tens of hours. A fun thing with higher difficulties is that it doesn't only increase difficulty, but unlocks new types of enemies.
