War Riders is an MMO strategy game, played through your web browser, where players drive their vehicles through a vast post-apocalyptic wasteland in search of Benzine the only remaining resource. Potential players will need to purchase a vehicle in order to play. 30,000 Premium Vehicles will be offered for sale during the War Riders pre-sale.
War Riders is pulling out all the stops for this upcoming presale, which is set to be one of the widest, if not THE widest reaching presale ever in crypto gaming history. Starting August 20th (less than a week from today) 30,000 War Riders premium vehicles will be available for purchase through a variety of markets, and that is what is so special about this presale, the variety of markets and payment options.
Presale vehicles will of course be available the through the War Riders website, but that is not the only place. About a month ago they officially announced “in-game items will be available on WAX ExpressTrade™, and bought and sold on OPSkins™ using WAX Tokens, Bitcoin, ETH, US dollars, Euros and dozens of other currencies.” That is a big deal and can bring in a lot more potential players than a regular Ether fueled presale. To top it off, about a week ago they announced “Together with OpenSea we’ve developed an interesting technology that allows us to seamlessly integrate two websites and connect them to the same smart contract system. The OpenSea users will have exclusive access to our Deadly Car Factory smart contract allowing them to pre-order vehicles without leaving their favorite marketplace.”
“Alright”, you ask, “so we have a plethora of options for accessing this presale, but how much will they cost??” Well, sorry but that info has not been made public yet. However, the games’ developers have stated on their discord server that the initial price will be set quite low, at a price point where everyone should be able to afford a vehicle. That being said, the price increases slightly with each vehicle sold, and batch purchases will be a thing (first time I have seen that in a pre sale contract too). So if you have a tight budget, like myself, than try to buy early while prices are still low.
PREMIUM VEHICLES:
Presale investors will receive their vehicles immediately after making a purchase. The stats for each vehicle are up to chance, but there are specific templates that we can look at:
There is a 66.66% chance that any vehicle bought will be an SUV, which makes it the baseline Premium Vehicle. It is quick, versatile and moderately well armed.
Speed: 62 - 156 mph
Armor: 250 - 300
Benzine tank size: 150 -200
Total Weapon Slots: 3
Next up is the War Truck with a 20% drop rate, slow but heavily armored and with massive storage tanks.
Speed: 31 - 93 mph
Armor: 750 - 800
Benzine tank size: 1200 -1500
Total Weapon Slots: 4
The Hovercraft is the first of what is considered a Special Vehicle, its drop rate is 2%. Fast, tough and well armed, they have the unique ability to turn instantly, without losing speed.
Speed: 62 - 187 mph
Armor: 900 - 1000
Benzine tank size: 250 - 300
Total Weapon Slots: 5
The Car Tank, like the name suggests, it's a freaking tank, 1% drop rate. It has the best armor and armament in the wasteland. It also has a unique ability to be immune to critical hits.
Speed: 12 - 62 mph
Armor: 1700 - 1800
Benzine tank size: 150 - 200
Total Weapon Slots: 8
The Lambo is the rarest of all War Rider vehicles, at only 100 ever in existance giving it a drop rate of 0.33%. It is the fastest vehicle in WR and possesses the unique ability to accelerate instantly.
Speed: 125 - 219 mph
Armor: 650 - 700
Benzine tank size: 200 - 250
Total Weapon Slots: 3
REGULAR-GRADE VEHICLES:
In order to accurately gauge the premium vehicle stats I have included this little guy. These won’t pe available for purchase until early 2019, but take a look at the stats. 1 million of these will be available, hence this is going to be the majority of the vehicles you encounter in the wasteland.
Speed: 19 - 112 mph
Armor: 40 - 240
Benzine tank size: 20 - 90
Total Weapon Slots: 2-3
Not long after buying a vehicle in this pre-sale, players will be able to customize their rides (and their garages) to look any way they want, including paint jobs, parts and custom logos. Once the game starts we will be taking our vehicles out to explore the wasteland in search of randomly scattered Benzine. If you manage to get the Benzine back to your garage, dodging PvP traps and ambushes along the way, the Benzine will be added to your Ethereum wallet, yours to do whatever you want to do with. It will be used as an in-game currency to buy upgraded parts, trade with other players or sell on an exchange.

It is stunning how gritty they made those vehicles look. I just love that dirt and weapons feels to them. So funny looking seeing that SUV with rockets attached in such random places! It is at least nice to see another game hit the blockchain market.
