Once in a while we get a badass product in our shop that I just have to share with you guys. I’m talking about this awesome Magic the Gathering Planeswalkers Pin set by Pinfinity!!!
This particular set is a Previews Exclusive, which means it can only be purchased at retailers who order through Diamond Comics. Luckily, most comic shops fit that bill and should be able to help you out if you got the itch for one. If you aren’t familiar with local comic shops in your area, pop in your info below to discover one.

First thing we will notice is it comes in a pretty and secure box.
Once opened, you’ll see a cool card with badass art on one side, and instructions on the other. You may also ask yourself why there needs to be directions for pins in which I might reply with something like “humans are dumb”.
That should satisfy your question…but the reality is that these aren’t just any normal pins…for these pins…are full of MAGIC…or AR technology…
Whatever…the fact is that these are badass!!!! Read about it straight from the Pinfinity site.

That’s right! When used with the app, these fuckers seem to come to life to some degree. I haven’t tried it yet myself but I have used some other cool AR products. So much fun!!!
Let’s take a look at what these look like close up…
- Ajani pin
- Jace pin
- Liliana pin
- Chandra pin
- Garruk pin
- Ashiok pin
With only 500 of these badboys being produced, I’m sure they won’t last long. I believe retail is $69.99 on the set, which seems high…but then again…these are full of Magic…
Now to sucker @yabapmatt into one of these the next time he pops into the shop…😂

Very cool! I'm really surprised more comic related projects haven't jumped on the AR bandwagon in the last few years. So many possibilities there.
AR is pretty cool and I’d definitely love to see it being explored more as well.
I run a Garruk Caller of Beasts in my casual Sliver deck, and that card is absurdly fun. I have nightmares about Jace, Memory Adept and Ashiok though, as my brother is a fanatical control/mill mage. I've seen more of those cards than any human should. Nightmare weaving indeed.
I'm relieved not to see an Elspeth pin. XD
That’s awesome. I wish I had gotten into Magic back in the day as it seems like a blast.
I owe much to the game-- I learned more life lessons playing magic than from any other one source.
The importance of not telegraphing more information than you should.
The importance of making sacrifices you just don't want to make. A sixty card deck simply can't have every card you like in it-- you have to cut your favorites for the greater good.
The Whole is greater than the sum of the parts. It doesn't matter how good your individual cards are if they can't work together well. What is your mana curve? What is your lands to spell ratio? Do you have enough mana sources to consistently pay for your cards? SO many questions go into building a deck that play together synergistically, and there is not room for a single card that can't provide a consistent function.
Then there are so many triggers and interactions to keep in your mind at once, and forgetting even one can be the difference from a win or a loss.
I'm very grateful to the game, and the people I've been able to play it with along the way.
I hope you give it a try sometime, but I know you're crazy busy too!!!
Those ARE badass! :)
The box art reminds me of this..
Ah…Pan’s Labyrinth!!!
this creature was the 'angel' that hellboy talked to in hellboy 2. i think it gets copied a lot (the no eyes thing).. like the guy/thing on Lord of rings 3.
Have to say that they do look epic.
I havent played the game and only know of it from the guys in splinterlands but collectibles are always interesting. Especially ones like this with such high quality artwork.
Yeah, I just like cool merch. I’m a total sucker for this nonsense.
