Monster Hunter Worlds. A great game boxed and repackaged for the masses.

Monster Hunter is a game where every battle is a boss battle. This is not a turn based RPG, this game is heavy in the action. You have to dodge monster attacks, and choose the right times to attack. Break the face with a hammer, or cut off the tail with some dual blades. Break the claws and the wings.. DESTROY THE MONSTERS!

Then cut them up and use their pieces to make better armor or weapons. Not quite as unforgiving as the Dark Souls games, yet still challenging enough to give you and up to 3 other friends a hundred or more hours of battling giant dragons and dinosaurs! You can choose from bows, bowguns, sword and shields, giant two handed swords, dual blades, lances, hunting horns and many other monster killing weapons.

I have always loved Monster Hunter. I have played it since Monster Hunter Freedom 2 on the PSP. Long before most other Americans had played the MH games. The old games weren't going to be enjoyed by everyone, lots of loading screens. Hours of running around foraging Honey or mushrooms, mining ore, and collecting bones. With giant monsters to slay in between all of that farming.

I enjoyed it, compared to grinding in RPGs it was easy. I could understand why other people might not though. Monster hunter kept releasing games and they kept doing very well in Japan and not very well here. This time however Capcom decided to have a large marketing push in America. It makes sense because they fixed many of issues that might have scared players away.

There is still farming, mining, collecting honey. It can all be done fairly quickly now however, with no loading times in between zones anymore. Weapon trees are in game and you don't have to go to Kiranico to see what you need to upgrade to get the weapon or armor you want. Everything has been made easier, which is what you need to do if you want most American's to join in and play.

This is the Monster Hunter that has the potential to be the game of the year, even in America. Grab the game, join up with some friends and slay all the monsters!

When playing with friends you cannot join a game until they have viewed certain cut scenes in the main story quests. I wish they would have figured out a better way to approach this. So sometimes you will be stuck waiting 5 minutes to join a quest of your buddies if that quest is advancing their story line. One small issue, that comes up often enough to make it annoying, but besides that... the game is a slice, pound, and a blast!

Have you tried Monster Hunter? Are you going to now? If you are on the PS4 lets form a Steem squad and kill things!

Man, I wish I had time to game nowadays. @drpuffnstuff

Just like you, I've been playing MH ever since it was in the PSP. And boy, has it improved today! I'll have to say that it's more user-friendly now, but I still enjoy playing MHW immensely. It's still fun and challenging to play, solo or with a party. I have it on the console, but once it's released for the PC, I might get it as well!

Waiting for the Windows release lol. Better be no bugs...

it has a good graphics and aim. it can be try..thanks
