The Lord of the Rings Online - Angmar
Chapter 9
Welcome to Angmar, the most unfriendliest zone in "vanilla" Lotro, but was also the so called end-game area back then.
It's very different from other zones in the pre expansion Lotro, with its dark nature.
Angmar is a pretty big zone with a lot to discover but if you are in the level range, you will have a quite hard time to survive, since the mobs are strong and grouped together. There is also a lot of group quests here.
I remember the first time I entered here, it was a bit terrifying with the spoky music, almost pitch black mountains surrounding me, red sky in some parts and evil statues that seemed alive and could kill you....until I did some specific quests to get immune to their evil.
The main hub in this area is called Aughaire, which is located quite straight in the beginning when you enter Angmar in the south of the map, which can only be reached from one direction and that is from the area that borders to Angmar called North Downs which I'm going to write about later.
The level range for Angmar is: 40-50
