Prototype is an action-adventure and sandbox game released in 2009, it was developed by Radical Entertainment for the Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation 3, Playstation 4 and Xbox one platforms.
It is a game where you will follow the story of Alex Mercer and his struggle to remember who he is and quench his thirst for revenge on those who harmed him. Alex is a character with super powers and what can turn his hands into different types of weapons, Alex is not a human being but is a compound of biological material which allows him to create weapons with his body and absorb other people.
Game plot
The game begins in a total carnage, a massive rampage in the city of Manhattan where you will face the army with people who look like zombies and different types of monsters that look like you owe them a lot of money since they all want to attack you at the same time. Then Alex gets stubborn about it all and absorbs that whole frantic and apocalyptic world, returning everything to the beginning.
Alex Mercer wakes up in the morgue of a large genetic engineering company called Gentek, when scientists are about to perform an autopsy. And suddenly he wakes up giving a scare to these scientists that it seems that they had never seen a corpse, Alex is about to escape but he realizes that some military people enter the morgue and kill these scientists, they also discover Alex where they shoot him directly but he doesn't die, so he jumps a huge wall and when he is safe he realizes that he has super powers.
Alex realizes that he can't remember anything and now with the help of his new powers he begins to search for people who know something related to him and so absorb his memories to build his memory, get to the bottom of it all and discover the truth. Then Alex makes contact with his sister who apparently has the same psychopathic mind as him as she helps him infiltrate Gentek, in his search for answers by Gentek he meets Elizabeth Greene a container of the dangerous blacklight virus. Greene escapes and releases this virus in Manhattan, Mercer's sister tells him to find his ex-girlfriend who can help him stop the spread of the virus, but since his ex-girlfriend is a toxic (she's the worst monster) she sets him up and takes him straight to the military who were looking for him, and there Captain Cross injects him with a deadly virus to eliminate Alex (even though he already had one)
So Alex seeks the help of a pathologist from gentek to use this virus that she has just been injected with against Greene, but it backfired as by using the virus against Greene, she mutates and becomes the ultimate hunter, but which Alex destroys.
So on his way to stop the spread of the virus and destroy hundreds of bosses he realizes that the military has a brilliant solution to destroy Manhattan with a nuclear bomb, so Alex plays Superman and goes to the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan and takes the nuclear bomb far out to sea where it detonates exploding Mercer too, but remember how Alex is not a human being he does not die with the nuclear explosion and returns after absorbing a crow.
Playbility
Alex Mercer has a great arsenal of weapons and powers that you can use throughout the game, but the most outstanding or main one is his ability to absorb other living beings and take their shape. This helps him to recover health and to go unnoticed among his enemies, also as his super resistance and super strength capable of killing several human enemies in one blow. Also throughout the game will be unlocking different skills with PE evolution points.
Alex also obtains and uses the weapons of those he absorbs like: automatic rifles, machine guns, grenade launchers and missile launchers. You can also handle tanks and helicopters, another impressive thing about the character is that you can take carts or heavy objects and use them as weapons when throwing them to your enemies, whether they are monsters, military or helicopters.
You can climb buildings, jump over different obstacles, run at high speed, fall from great heights and glide when you throw yourself off a building. Falls from great heights are also a character attack as it creates a shockwave that kills everyone around it. In short, prototype offers a gameplay where you can leave massive destruction wherever you go.

In my opinion I think protota is a game that is totally worth playing because with its different missions, combat modes and a lot of impressive weapons, it makes you want to play and finish all the missions. Something that I don't like about the video game is that when the enemies attack you, they all do it at the same time, it seems as if you were Chapo Guzmán himself, also the great amount of arsenals that he doesn't use at all.
But in general it is a good game with an excellent plot worthy of a movie on the big screen that's why I give this game a score of 7.6 because although it can be an excellent video game it has some repetitive bumps.

Es un juego donde seguirás la historia de Alex mercer y su lucha por recordar quién es y saciar su sed de venganza hacia aquellos que lo dañaron. Alex es un personaje con superpoderes y Qué puede convertir sus manos en distintos tipos de armas, Alex no es un ser humano sino que es un compuesto de material biológico el cual le permite crear armas con su cuerpo y absorber a otras personas.
Historia del juego
El juego empieza en una carnicería total, un desenfreno masivo en la ciudad de Manhattan donde te enfrentarás al ejército a personas que parecen zombies y a diferentes tipos de monstruos que pareciera como si le debieras muchísimo dinero ya que todos te quieren atacar al mismo tiempo. Luego Alex se obstina de todo eso y absorbe todo aquel mundo frenético y apocalíptico, devolviendo todo al principio.
Alex mercer despierta en la morgue de una gran compañía de ingeniería genética llamada Gentek, cuando unos científicos le iban a realizar una autopsia. Y de repente se levanta dandole un susto a estos científicos que parece que nunca habían visto un cadáver, Alex se dispone escapar pero se da cuenta que unos militares entran en la morgue y asesinan a estos científicos, también descubren a Álex donde le disparan directamente pero no se muere, Así que salta una pared enorme y al estar a salvo se da cuenta de que tiene superpoderes.
Alex se da cuenta de que no puede recordar nada y ahora con ayuda de sus nuevos poderes comienza a buscar a las personas que saben algo relacionado a él y así absorber sus recuerdos para ir construyendo su memoria, llegar al fondo de todo y descubrir la verdad. luego Alex hace contacto con su hermana que por lo visto tiene la misma mente psicópata de él ya que lo ayude a infiltrarse en Gentek, en su búsqueda de respuestas por Gentek se encuentra con elizabeth Greene un contenedor del peligroso virus blacklight. Greene se escapa y libera este virus en Manhattan, la hermana de mercer le dice que busque a su ex novia que lo puede ayudar a detener la propagación del virus, pero como su ex novia es una tóxica (Es el peor monstruo) le tiende una trampa y lo lleva directo con los militares que lo estaban buscando, y allí el capitán cross le inyecta un virus mortal para eliminar a Alex (A pesar de que ya tenía uno)
Así que Alex busca la ayuda de un patólogo de gentek para usar este virus que le acaban de inyectar contra Greene, pero le salió el disparo por la culata ya que al utilizar el virus contra Greene, ella muta y se convierte en el cazador supremo, Pero que Alex destruye.
Así que en su camino por detener la propagación del virus y de destruir a cientos de jefes moustrosos se da cuenta de qué los militares tienen una brillante solución destruir Manhattan con una bomba nuclear, Así que Alex hace de Superman y se dirige al portaaviones USS Ronald Reagan y llevan la bomba nuclear lejos hacia el mar donde detona explotando mercer tambien, pero recuerden como Alex no es un ser humano no se muere con la explosión nuclear y regresa después de absorver un cuervo.
Jugabilidad
Alex mercer cuenta con un gran arsenal de armas y poderes que podrás hacer uso a lo largo del juego, pero el más destacado o el principal es su capacidad de absorber a otros seres vivos y tomar su forma. Esto le ayuda a recuperar salud y a pasar desapercibido entre sus enemigos, También como su súper resistencia y super fuerza capaz de matar a varios enemigos humanos de un golpe. También a lo largo del juego irá desbloqueando diferentes habilidades con puntos de evolución PE.
Alex también obtiene y usa las armas de aquellos que absorbe como: rifles automáticos, ametralladoras, lanzagranadas y lanzadores de misiles. También puedes manejar tanques y helicópteros, otra cosa impresionante del personaje es que puedes tomar carros o objetos pesados y usarlos como armas al aventarlos a tus enemigos, ya sean monstruos, militares o helicópteros.
Puedes escalar edificios, saltar diferentes obstáculos, correr a gran velocidad, caer desde grandes alturas y planear cuando te lanzas de un edificio. Las caídas desde grandes alturas también es un ataque del personaje ya que crea una onda de choque que mata a todos los que estén alrededor. En fin prototype te ofrece una jugabilidad donde puedes dejar destrucción masiva por donde quiera que pases.

Algo que podemos destacar de este videojuego es que usó lugares reales de la ciudad de Manhattan, Cómo algunos edificios famosos tales como: El Empire State Building, el Trump Building (lo odies o no Trump siempre va a estar presente en nuestras vidas), el One Chase Manhattan Plaza, el Conde Nast Building, entre otros edificios de renombre de la ciudad de nueva York.
Enemigos
En prototype cuenta con una gran cantidad de enemigos incluso aquellos que te dice que te ayudan realmente son tus enemigos (como la exnovia tóxica) cada enemigo tiene un objetivo distinto ya sea destruir a Alex mercer protegerán Greene o destruir a ambos, también están los que destruyen a los monstruos y lo que los protegen, entonces ya que realmente son muchos mencionaremos solamente los más destacados:
Cazador líder, cazador híbrido supremo, Infectados, Marines, comandante de los marines, super soldados y soldados de la blackwatch, también está greene y cuando evoluciona a su máximo poder.

Gráficos y Sonido
En cuanto a gráficos el juego cuenta con imágenes de movimiento muy avanzadas, en general los distintos personajes así como la ciudad, los edificios, los carros y el cielo tienen buenos gráficos. Aunque en ocasiones son repetitivos y no le ponen muchos detalles a los rasgos de cada personaje.
En cuanto a sonido es sumamente excelente los pasos las caídas abrupta desde los edificios los golpes y cuando Alex mercer absorbe alguien, se escucha tan real como si estuvieras dentro del juego, el equipo de desarrollo detrás de este videojuego se esmero muchísimo por hacer que el sonido de este videojuego se marcara excelentemente.
Recepción
El juego cuenta con una recepción de aprobación del 96%, y las críticas lo posicionan con una puntuación media de 8.
Palabras finales y Puntuación
En mi opinión pienso que protota es un juego Qué vale totalmente la pena jugar ya que con sus distintas misiones modos de combate y una gran cantidad de impresionante de armas, hacen que quieras jugar y terminar todas las misiones. Algo que no me gusta del videojuego es que cuando te atacan los enemigos lo hacen todos al mismo tiempo pareciera como si fueras el propio chapo Guzmán, también la gran cantidad de arsenales que no llega a utilizar del todo.
Pero en general es un buen juego con una excelente trama digna de una película en la gran pantalla por eso a este juego le doy una puntuación de 7.6 porque aunque puede ser un excelente videojuego tiene algunos baches repetitivos.
