As patch 7.3 draws closer to being live, already being on the PTR for players to test and see the new content. Players are set on this being the last patch for legion and the big update will be the next expansion.
The community are believing that players will be sent to Kul Tiras to fight the Old Gods, this is the first time it has been mentioned since Cataclysm. This has surfaced from the new Tier Armor set image above, it includes a sash on each side that shows what possibly could be an island but definitely a new area for the game. When you compare the sash to the image of Kul’Tiars in the original World of Warcraft game manual, it definitely has some similarities.
Storyline wise, the next in line for being in the crosshair of players would be the Void Lords. Void Lords created the Old Gods so this would make sense. Kul Tiras is also led by Lord Admiral Proudmoore which with the current rumours going round with Jaina Proudmoore (that she is losing control and could potentially swap sides) this would make all rumours very likely to be.
The new Hearthstone expansion Knights of the Frozen Throne also hints at this, Jaina’s monologue throughout the cinematic trailer, she describes how “Power is a double edged blade. One side light, the other side dark… They have no vision. Power alone is not to be feared, Fear instead those who wield it.” This could be the Jaina that the rumours have been pointing to, giving up on the light and changing over sides.
There is quite a bit of information on the next expansion, Rise of the Naga Empire although none of it has been officially confirmed as of yet.
Major features of the next expansion includes;
• Max level raised to 120.
• New race introduced, Naga. Likely to be neutral similar to the panda starter area.
• New class introduced, Tinker (Gnomes and Goblins) Tank/Dps specs available.
• New shared/neutral city, Undermine.
• New mount type, Boats.
• House boats that are created and customisable by players.
• Faction allegiance system that allows horde/alliance players to band together in groups.
• Eight new zones (All level scaled, same as legion)
The new zones include:
• Scintal Reef (Naga levelling zone 1-20)
• Kul’Tiras
• The Isle of Kezan
• Zandalar
• Tel Abim
• Drowned Reaches
Max level zones:
• Gishan Caverns
• Mazjatar
Other features being added:
• 2 new PvP battlegrounds.
• 1 new Arena.
• 3 new Raid zones.
• 12 dungeons, 10 new and 2 revamped.
• Updates on the transmogrification sets.
Of course, all of this is subject to change but with the amount of information at hand, some of it must be true. Storyline wise, it all fits into the current state of the World of Warcraft world.

Playing a Naga would be cool, would be cooler to get to play a Murloc though;)

It'll be nice to see how fast/big the boats are, the storyline of the Naga starter area I think would be amazing. Who doesn't want to play as a murloc!

Legion has seen a lot of old players come back, they did well with the current expansion!
My thing is that I am sooo far behind that I don't want to have to start from the beginning. Plus I miss the 40 man raids.. I would need that to make it worth it at all. But probably don't have the time anymore.
