Forged Battalion is a Real Time Strategy game that enables you to highly customize your units, manage your faction resources and destroy your foes. A similar feel to Warzone 2100 that was released to multiple platforms back in 1999. That gameplay was unique to that time and graphics was terrible. Even more terrible was the laggy gameplay during long-games. But the game was very much enjoyable.
This game however has better graphics, smoother gameplay and more fun. The game is set to launch on Steam early access this January 16, 2018. Although official system requirement have not yet been announced. Hardware wise the game is not too power hungry.
As I've enjoyed Warzone 2100 so much during my younger days. Forged Battalion offers another rare gameplay that I have been looking for. And it could still improve since it's early access. Devs will weed out bugs and incorporate feedback from the players. Game will be available on Steam's website after release. Prices are expected to go up after 6 months of early access.
