A renting system is like the Level Up + Manasurge of the entire game**
A proper, well made, high QoL Renting system will cause:
Onboarding Funnel:
-New players can play meta decks without spending a lot of money (Increased player activity, friendly to TCG pros and streamers to test the game, etc)
-Extremely cheap 2nd tier decks. Since most focus will revolve around meta cards, 2nd tier deck which are still decent will be accessible to noobs possibly for cents a month.
Empowered market:
-Helps price discovery = An additional metric to a card's value + cards are more accessible -> more people can battletest the meta
-Increased liquidity. From ideal assets to passive income
-An increase in card value.
-Additional use cases for $GODS and $IMX
Empowered meta and community:
-Accessibility to rare cards
-People to potentially rent shinny decks and cover their rent by winning.
-Helping people test out cards without having to trust that they return the cards, strengthen the community.
-More data for balancing
-Allows new form of events. An event organizer can rent specific decks for the entire player pool (Related to high QoL, where you can rent decks and you can delegate the cards you rent to other players (so that you can rent at a given point in time and share it with a different players on a later date)
