This is a Paladin Hammerdin/Zealer/Charger build that I made in Hardcore Ladder mode in Diablo 2 Lord Of Destruction on Battlenet.
This is an 'end game' build that I like to make for farming Uber Keys and Magic Finding.
Mainly I came up with this build for doing runs on Nihlathak to get the Key of Destruction. The Redemption aura from the Phoenix shield this build uses is very effective at sucking up the corpses from Nihlathak's minions before he can use them for his powerful Corpse Explosion skill.
It is a strong build for soloing and with his ability to utilize Smite, Zeal and Charge there is not much in the game (except Ubers) that give him much trouble.
Because of the way he is geared he has a lower than average Faster Cast Rate so I equiped him with a Wizardspike and Spirit Runeword shield on his weapon swap for Teleporting with.
Note: Notice how I up his Resistance cap by adding points to the Fire and Lightning resist auras. I give an example of how this works in my Diablo 2 Tips & Tricks post found here: https://steemit.com/gaming/@hydroflux/diablo-2-tips-and-tricks
Note: The reason that I utilize this particular Mercenary setup is because it has a high survival rate against the snakes and their poison clouds in Nihlathak's area.
