Game Credits
Are you a gamer? Or an investor looking to buy and hold cryptocurrencies with potential? Well this is the coin for you. GameCredits is a cryptocurrency that allows you to buy video games with ease. This cryptocurrency is the new gateway into the gaming industry.
The potential
The biggest problem I see in many cryptocurrencies, is that they don't have a product to back up their coin. This coin does have a product, and not just one. Right now on their website, you can choose from 14 different video games to buy with GAME. And they have plans to add hundreds of mobile games to their platform. This in itself tells me it will have a lot of potential as a cryptocurrency. Because a coin with a product usually means there will be more buyers than sellers. For investors, this is good because buyers and holders are key to a successful coin.
Some speculation
Their price on poloniex is currently 0.00160201 per coin. But just a few days ago the price was at 0.001318. For the short term, I see their coin going up by maybe 5-10% in the next few days. But as seen in the graph below, there is a few walls that need to be broken before it gets above 0.002.
I personally see this coin rising by about 200% in less than a year, and I will be investing more into it later today. I'm open to opinions, and suggestions related to this cryptocurrency. My advice is to invest now while it is still low, and before they launch their mobile app store.
GameC is interesting but without a plateform they can't really work. That's why for exemple if Mobile go succeed Gamecredit will too i guess.
I agree they still have ways to go. We will see where it heads when they launch their mobile section.
Why can't video games be sold for Bitcoin or another crypto?
Perhaps in the future you can trade in game items for cryptocurrency. It would make things a lot more efficient.
Games already have this and again how is this cryptocurrency better than any other? Why not user Bitcoin, LiteCoin, etc.? Is GameCoin easier to integrate?
I'm not fully familiar with this project. I think it would be easier to integrate since the coin itself is made for games. I would check out their website, https://gamecredits.com. They also have a slack that is very active gamecreditsglobal.slack.com
Problem I see with these gaming coins is they all seem to be Pump n dump coins.
It's not only a gaming coin problem. Many early cryptocurrencies have this issue. I think as this coin gathers more long term investors that problem will be flushed out.
We are stocking up on all game related cryptocoins.
OK so Im shamelessly jumping on your post to promote another coin, but hear me out for a second. No disrespect for gamecredits its an interesting idea, but we need to help gamers earn more from their rigs.
Thats where #Gridcoin comes in, you can CPU mine Gridcoin while you are playing games, this presents no competition to Scrypt mining gamecredits at all, if anything its a synergy.
The reason you can profitably CPU mine Gridcoin, is because you arent hashing at all, you are doing real scientific work, like searching for disease cures (childhood cancers, AIDS, Ebola), searching for ET with the SETI program, doing particle physics at the Large Hadron Collider, finding new massive prime numbers and much, much more. You can use GPUs too, but they dont compete with CPUs, so CPU mining is not made impossible/unprofitable.
Gridcoin has been around for years, and its going through somewhat of a renaissance. In fact if you are a gamer, you may actually see using Gridcoin as a game in itself, optimising your mining is quite an art form, there is a real competitive edge too. Throught the year team Gridcoin goes up against other teams to see who can process the most work in specific timescales, there is strategy and tactics in winning these challenges, and bragging rights are everything.
