It's more than a year since I started playing Mobile legends, and until now I admit that I am still playing this game and loving it more and more. I met new friends along the course of playing both inside the game and in real life just by simply playing and interacting with people who share the same love for this game.
Mobile legends from Moonton is probably the best MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) in mobile phones and tablets. Like DOTA, it is played by two teams each with five members going at each other in a very competitive way.
Recently, MSC (Mobile legends Southeast Asia Cup) was held in Jakarta, Indonesia. Pro-gamer teams from Southeast Asian countries joined and participated in the said tournament including the Philippines. It is an epic battle for supremacy as they clash for 2 days of non-stop excitement.
image from airasia saiyan's pageBoth Philippine team battle in the finals, Digital Devils (Professional Gaming) got more than $20,000 worth of cash and the silver medals as they grab the 1st runner-up and Aether Main got more than $50,000 worth of cash, gold medal, championship ring, and the MSC trophy as the supreme champion of MSC tournament 2018, they’re both from the Philippines beating other countries including the host country Indonesia in a landslide 5-1(DD) and 5-0(AEM) on their road to the finals.
In my experience, playing this game gives me the hype and helps me relax after a long day of work playing with my friends and housemates here in UAE. Most of us expats both boys and girls are playing the game and we really loved it.
GAME MODES
Classic
: As the name describes, this is the classic game mode divided by 3 lanes wherein both teams will clash and take down towers of the opposing team.Rank
: Rank game is same as classic game wherein player of the same rank go at each other proving who deserves to be the best. Also winning in this game mode gives the player a chance to promote their rank for better rewards.Brawl
: Brawl is a single lane, head to head battle wherein the system gives you only 2 heroes to choose from.Custom
: Custom is the same as classic/rank game but this game mode provides a group of friends who just want to have fun playing without any risk of a rank down. The custom game is can be considered as a LAN game.VS AI
: This game mode is like custom gaming but instead of going against your friends, you got AI as your opponent. This mode gives you a chance to hone your skills.Survival
: This is the latest addition in Mobile Legends. In this mode, you play a single hero trying to survive a long battle royale with other players around the globe. You lose immediately once you’re hero dies.ROLES
Marksman
: This type of hero is long-ranged. This is highly used by beginners of the game. With a massive amount of damage and hard to reach-type of hero although they’re known to be highly vulnerable to any attack.Fighter
: This hero can give massive amount of damage. It fights in a close combat and serves as a crowd control and essential during clashes.Tank
: A hero who is in-charge of defensive purposes. Players built items with a high defense rate against both physical and magic damage. The tank is the receiver of damage during clashes while other heroes gather to eliminate opponents.Mage
: Heroes with massive magical damage. This hero with low defense produced a great damage, buffs, and supporting spells such as heal and stun.MY HEROES
I have almost 40 heroes that I bought using battle points I’ve collected simply by winning a game and these are the list of my favorite heroes that I often use every game.
Nana
A mage-type hero which I to use in dealing great amount damage and supporting your teammates. I play this hero more often because I love supporting while getting my own kills.
Bruno
Marksman type, Bruno deals a decent amount of damage to the opponent plus its ability to dash in and out of clashes makes it hard to get caught and also Bruno is very good with pushing enemy towers quickly.
Cyclops
Mage type hero who have high magic penetration skills, dealing a massive amount of damage to opponents who’s been hit by its magical skills.
Aurora
Like Cyclops, Aurora gives a massive amount of damage to opponents plus its passive ability to freeze enemy heroes using her skills. Frozen by Aurora is most likely to assume that you have to wait for the cooldown to be revived.
Hanabi
Marksman hero who can deal great damage as well as support your teammates by immobilizing enemies who’ve been hit by its 3rd skill.
Martis
A new hero who is a fighter type that I’m trying to learn at this moment. Martis is a great crowd control and a death bringer to your opponent.
Lancelot
Another high damage giver. Lancelot is one of the heroes in the game who is hard to catch and annoying. Aside for its damage, Lancelot is fast and has a skill that can dodge almost every hero special attack.
Aldous
The latest addition in the game. This over-powered hero is not to be taken for granted. It can instantly destroy the enemy in a single blow. In addition to that, Aldous can see all the enemies simply by using its special attack that will charge anyone, anywhere on the map.
Lapu-Lapu
I can say that this is my favorite hero. Aside for its massive damage, Lapu-Lapu can also glides in and out of clashes, dealing a high amount of damage, high defense and can stun all heroes that have been hit by its special attack. Lapu-Lapu also has 6 skills with decent damage. Aside from all of that, Lapu-Lapu is one of our country’s national hero.
GAMEPLAY
This action-packed gameplay is recommended to all who loves competitive battle. You will need teamwork, guts, and strategy to win in this game. A sample of this game that I uploaded on youtube is shown below with me playing the game.
I'm not good at it or let's say just an average player but, who cares? I'm having fun and that what is important.
Although this game is really fun and addictive, I still advise parents to supervise their children upon playing this game cause some players intentionally talk trash to maintain a highly competitive atmosphere that your children may imitate and possibly develop an unacceptable behavior towards other people.
