Everyone loves a good story of redemption and all of the bodies that it takes to buy it along the way.

I have no idea how this is going to turn out, which is kind of interesting from the perspective of both a writer and a gamer. As a gamer, the lack of ability to know exactly how things are going is a total win. You want your decisions in the moment to be important, and there is less flexibility for that in this kind of game if the ends have been established. As a writer – you absolutely want to know where things are going next so that you can set up for terrible things to happen and be interesting.

I enjoy the duality of position that I have as regards this kind of narrative, which may explain why I keep doing it.
