Today I am taking a look at the midweek sales and recommending some games on sale around the various stores available to us gamers. I will pick a couple of obvious choices and the deep dive for some real value. All prices are in Euro unless otherwise stated. Focusing on the great Fanatical sale this week and then my pick of the best deals from around the other game sites!
Cities: Skylines - 6.99 -75% off
The best modern city builder out there and an absolute steal at this price. The expansion packs are also on sale so this is well worth a play!
Surviving Mars - 10.19 - 66% off
This game is so much fun and really surprised me when I played it the first time at how addictive it was. Excellent colony builder on Mars coupled with one of the best and fun soundtracks available. This is definitely back on my radar to play and is one of the best experiences you can have on the red planet.
Galactic Civilizations III - 6.24 - 75% off
This incredibly deep and thoughtful turn based strategy game is great value at full price, so at this discount you have to check it out. The expansion packs really do improve the overall experience and should be considered from the start. One of the best sci-fi strategy games you can get!
Star Control: Origins - 8.49 - 66% off

This fun and quirky game has a very engaging story and should entertain you for at least 20 hours!
Aven Colony - 6.89 - 77% off
I played this mainly on XBOX One and loved it, very pretty game and also a little more laid back and relaxing. I am going to pick this up with a view to make a review in the future. In fact it was purchased tonight!
Everspace - 5.59 - 80% off
Having played this mostly on Xbox One I am very tempted to pick it up on PC for a full review and a lot more game time...Very tempted. Its a fun space dog fighting sim with a sequel on the way!
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - 5.74 - 79% off
A great game with a very fun character progression system and some ferocious and intense combat. Based on the Left 4 Dead format with the awesome Warhammer lore to back it up, played a lot on Xbox One and would now like to experience this on PC. I bought this tonight!
Humble Bundle is focused on a Funcom, EA and Racing sale this week
So there we go, lots on sale this week and plenty of choice for the consumer with some real value to be had out there. I may even pick up a couple of games myself.
