According to corridor rumors that are circulating online today, Kingdom Hearts III will return to showcase the E3 2017 in July with a new trailer. Square Enix would have "development problems" and the game would come out in 2018 with some "cuts" to avoid further referrals.
The future trailer will probably come out on July 15th at Disney D23 Expo 2017.
