Let me tell you a story. A game came out called Death Stranding came out in 2019. People hated it, called it bad, I had one of the most emotionally transformative experiences with it. It's a masterpiece to me. Not perfect, just one of the greatest pieces of experiential art I've invested in. People dismissed me, called it shit, disregarded my opinion. I argued relentlessly across discord servers, but there were also people who liked it just as much as me. Not once did I think "maybe I'm wrong for liking it and thinking it's good because it feels like everyone hates it.
