My favorite game that I personally have played this year, happens to be Cuphead. It is a great game that i thoroughly enjoy every time I pick it up and play.
This game is full of surprises and has a lot of cool/retro animation elements.
Cuphead to me, is a finished/polished take on animation and film of extremely old media style. I love the cartoon style and sound is so livid during this game. The premise is simple enough, but it is done so well that every time you play it , it seems a little different everytime. I think the co-op aspect is the best part of this game. I was playing local co-op with my brother and we enjoyed getting through the levels and seeing the changing scenery.
The bosses in Cuphead are what makes this game entertaining and puts the cherry on top of the entertainment and replay value of this video game. Every boss has a unique mechanic that you must learn to defeat it. Not to spoil anything I would like to say my favorite boss is the Genie!
If you were hesitant to pick up this game , don't be it's really fun and I had an enjoyable experience all the way through. I will rate this game 5/5 I loved every second of it!
