Gaming - Finding a new home in Ark

in #gaming6 years ago

We've done it again! We're back in Ark: Survival Evolved to do some exploring of the Ragnarok map.

This time, we're aiming for a new home up in the highlands. So we said goodbye to our old home (don't worry, we'll be back to feed my beach full of dino's), and off we were towards new adventures.

On the way over there, we found two huge meat eaters with whom we have to share our new land. Luckily, we're settling down on the other side. Hopefully we'll be far enough away from our scary neighbours!

Isn't this just the perfect view of our new land? These highlands certainly have some beautiful sceneries to show us.

There it is! The lighthouse we'll call our new home.

As opposed the the castle we found before, this place is completely abandoned. No hungry bats or raptors that want to eat us. This place is all ours!

And what a views the lighthouse gives us!

Oh yes, this is a perfect place to settle down. New adventures from our new lands are sure to follow!

P.S.: Look, we weren't the first travelers to visit the lighthouse:

Seems to be an awesome game.... With a perfect designs all over... Waiting for the new adventures from the new land @playfulfoodie

It really is an awesome game @valency1! I love exploring the maps :-)

Very cool, that looks like the perfect place to set-up shop. Very little dino activity in the immediate area and small enough where it can be controlled. Looking forward to see what/if any improvements/additions are made.

Aye, so far I haven't seen any aggressive dinos close to us. We did find that the lighthouse itself is quite small for a full-blown base, so we're building next to it. It's going to be a big project to get water up there!

Looks like fun, good to see ark still alive

Aye, I love this game! I haven't been gaming on the pc much at all lately, but it was good to get back into Ark yesterday :-)

Appreciate the comment you dropped , dualy noted friend and what console are you on maybe we could intge near future both play a game like ark together

Happy you appreciate the comment @r8gamez! I usually play on the pc, though lately I've not been playing a lot. Well, some phone games. I only just got back into Ark with my boyfriend! We play in my private session, so we don't have to share the world with others. We tried public servers, but they are just filled with big, ugly buildings and we didn't enjoy that very much.

the horizon of this video game stands out a lot I must admit it. I was wondering these days what had happened with this type of publications of yours.

Yeah, I wasn't gaming on the pc much lately, so I didn't have a lot to share in that department. Though I did still have plenty of screenshots left to show. Maybe I'll circle around back to them one day, but for now, there's new adventures to share :D

Wow wow wow you progressing well. The graphic is so unique congrt to your new home keep us dated with some new adventure @playfulfoodie

Arrhhh I'm still dying to play this game, I've seen so many awesome videos about It, I just can't warrant buying more games at the minute though.
Great post :)

Thank you! I hope you get to buy it some day. Maybe it'll appear as a Steam sale again some day :D

No worries :D
I'm on PS4 but Its just as expensive on there too so I hope for a sale on there :D

ARK!!!👀👀 love to watch ark streams, such a cool game, rust too

Ooh yes, I've seen Rust on Steam a couple of times! It seems about the same idea, but in a different setting. I'd definitely be interested in trying it some day if I were to get my hands on a copy for cheap. Though I still have plenty of other games to try...

What a great post @playfulfoodie I am a technical support for a huge gaming console and I've just signed in to this platform. It just amazes me that i can see posts related to my Job... Way to go !!! UPVOTING and FOLLOWING YOU NOW

Aww thank you very much for your kind comment! I like the positivity in your posts so far, so I'll give you a follow and some votes aswell :D

My friend and I are long-time 7 Days To Die players. Decided to take a break from it and try out Ark again. Lot's of fun! We're a bit reckless but still having a great time playing. Great post!

Ooh awesome! My boyfriend and me love to build our own residences there. Well, he builds and I collect dinosaurs ;-)

We're not usually reckless, since we hate to lose our stuff. When we do explore scary places, we usually leave all of our valuable stuff back in our house!

This is so outstanding, great job 😁

Thank you :-)

Hey,
I could you please guide me how to become successful on patron. I really appreciate if you guide me.
Thanks

Hi there! Sadly, I don't know how to become successful on patreon, since I haven't found even one myself. I guess it all depends on what line of work you're promoting there. I think you'll need a big follower base before you even start on patreon and you'll have to have something special to offer your patrons in return for their support.

thanks for your reply, basically I am a blogger and affiliate marketer. So, just willing to learn from a teacher. So if you have time to guide me even a little bit. Because some one said "knowledge increase by sharing".
Thanks

Well I'm pretty sure I'm not the best teacher in the patreon department, but as I said, I think the most important thing is to have an audience already. One which you can offer something extra in return for their support. As a blogger, I guess it could be something topic related. Like... if you're a food blogger, you could offer your patrons some behind the scenes footage, maybe some videos. Extra cooking tips, QA sessions, that sort of thing.

But I'm really just pulling this out of thin air, or atleast talking back to you what I've read online. The best advice I can give you is to check out other successful people on patreon who are in the same line of business you are. You can check what they offer their patrons and see how they advertize their page. Maybe you can learn from that :-)

Outstanding art work. Great entertainment. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, but they are simply screenshots of a game :-)

You are very good at telling a travel game ...

i am not a gamer, tp i really like to read the story you write.
