Yield Games Guild is one of the largest organizations in play2earn, with an absolutely huge discord among other things. I recently minted my badge for the YGG ecosystem.

Why Mint a YGG Badge?
There is no immediate utility to this badge as far as I can tell. However, a look at one of the most important pages of the white paper shows the potential value of these badges later on. In short, YGG will be like an "achievements system" for play2earn games in general.
Here's the page that lays out the plan:
You'll be able to level up through quests and achievements, earning rewards from YGG in the process. These rewards could include the YGG token itself, a token currently trading at $2.39.
It just makes sense -- the same way you have your Steam account, your Xbox Live account, or any other ecosystem-level account, your YGG account will work similarly. Given their prominence and first-mover advantage in the industry, YGG is well-poised to make this happen.
