To expand its operations, Arc System Works recently opened a new branch in the United States. Apparently, this subsidiary has already started working on its first big project, which will be the distribution of BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle in the West. As you remember, the company revealed this title of fights in EVO 2017, which will debut sometime in 2018.
BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is a 2D game that will bring together characters from different titles and franchises, such as Persona 4, BlazBlue, Under Night In-Birth and RWBY. According to the information, the new branch of Arc System Works will be responsible not only for the marketing of said title, but also for its promotion, support and everything related to its sales.
The game will have quite similar mechanics to BlazBlue, so you will have at your disposal a large number of characters, each with unique powers, weaknesses and strengths.
Despite not having a confirmed release date, certainly the arrival of BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle to our region will please more than one fan of the genre. The crossover title is scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC, via Steam, before the end of next year.
