Nvidia has completed its portfolio of graphics units (GPUs) at CES 2022 with the announcement of the GeForce RTX 3050, an affordable new version of its latest generation of desktop RTX 30 cards, which improves performance and efficiency.

eForce RTX 3050 arrives with the aim of updating the previous models of the affordable RTX 50 series, which are still present in three of the five most used GPUs currently in Steam, as announced by the manufacturer in a statement.

The new GPU introduces second-generation RT cores with support for ray tracing and third-generation Tensor cores, which enable functions such as DLSS supersampling and AI features.

In this way, it allows to play ray traced games above 60 frames per second, in addition to improving performance and energy efficiency compared to its predecessors.

Among its features, Nvidia has also opted for up to 8GB of GDDR6 memory, as well as the Reflex function to reduce latency when playing games, Broadcast to record audio and video with AI functions, Encoder for streaming and Studio for creative apps.

GeForce RTX 3050 will be sold from January 27 at a suggested price starting from $ 249.
