THE INTERNATIONAL 2017 QUALIFIER PHASE 1 WINNERS
Dota 2 is so popular this days and it's considered as the best MOBA game today. The International 2017 will kick off this August 7-12, 2017 at Key Arena in Seattle, WA, USA with a current prize pool of $19,000,000. It is the second largest esports prize pool ever and there are still 50 more days before TI7.
Today, I'm gonna give you a quick update of The International 2017 Qualifier Phase 1 winners and some shocking news in Dota 2 world.
TI7 PHASE 1 WINNERS
Team Secret came out on top after winning their last game against Penta Sports. They have been dominant since day 1 of the qualifier lead by their team captain and drafter "Puppey". This team's so good in counter-picking their opponents.
They only lost to mousesports where they're outdrafted and can't seem to find their composure in the game. The highlight of Team Secret's run in TI7 was their game against Danish Bears where they defended their throne with only a half health on it. This team really proves that they deserve to be in TI.
The Filipino pride "TNC PRO TEAM" once again proved that they're the best in Southeast Asia. They're going to TI for the second straight time. Lead by their new captain and drafter "Theeban Silva" also known as "1437" proved that he earn a spot there. TNC PRO TEAM improved a lot and they've been owning SEA region lately.
They almost had a complete record on the qualifier but Clutch Gamers were able to beat TNC in their best of 1 game. Their early game was so hard that they can't even fight well because the enemy's SILENCER.
They secured their spot by beating TEAM FNATIC on their last game. TNC dominated the whole game and finishing it for only 31:30 minutes. It was their versatility that really makes them so hard to counter.
So far, these are the teams that qualified for The International 2017 Phase 1. CN Qualifier, NA Qualifer and SA Qualifier will determine today on who will gonna win a spot to TI1.
Lot of hearts were broken as the crowd favorite, the TI1 Champions "NAVI" was eliminated from TI. It was their first time not competing on The International. Same thing goes to Alliance as the TI3 champions was eliminated from TI.
