Produced by Supermassive Games and backed by Sony Computer Entertainment, this game (which became one of the company's biggest hits) was developed for the PlayStation 4 platform and fits into the genre Survival Horror and Adventure.

Directed by Maria Cevizovic, the plot follows a group of teenagers who, on a special date, decide to meet in a chalet (located on a mountain) looking for fun. The intention is to overcome a tragic accident that occurred in their lives, which somehow marked everyone. What none of them could imagine is that they would be about to live a night of unforgettable horror.

Destructoid

Single player mode gives the audience the opportunity to control 8 characters: Sam, Mike, Josh, Ashley, Chris, Jessica, Matt and Emily (ie the gameplay is super interesting). It all starts when there is a suspicion that a maniac would be prowling where they are and so the climate of hostility between them rises easily... However, very soon they will find that the answer is not that simple. and the player will have an unusual help (a kind of general game mentor) that will guide them to future events.

Betting on striking features such as an efficient narrative line (the plots into which the characters dive are film-worthy, mainly because they are very immersive), high quality special effects (it's a blend of visual graphics and photorealism of a unique sensibility. ), and a big combo consisting of the items "effect and consequence" + "butterfly effect" (these are aspects that put in the player's balance a battle between rational and emotional, as they must make decisions that will affect the fate of all).

Gamers Decide

In the midst of a night of terror, each path chosen by the player has a particular consequence... So you have to think very well because everyone's fate can only depend on one choice. This idea of spreading the suspense and fear that arises from a particular decision triggers an internal debate that will surely stir the minds of those who buy the idea of the game and really experience what it is proposing.

During the development of the game (which, by the way, has a great pace), the characters are being separated by events that force them to do so. Thus, each of them is responsible for - inadvertently - exploring the most diverse scenarios (ensuring that the game is amplified in a skillful way) and experiencing the most diverse types of sensations as each player makes their choices.

DualShockers

The feel of playing this game closely resembles the feeling of watching some classic 90s thriller / horror movies, such as: Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer and Urban Legend. There is a technical applicability that centralizes and establishes the style of the game in an atmosphere full of tension, obscure places on all sides and characters that have very noticeable characteristics, well delimit each new dilemma faced.

Get ready for many jump scares scenes (those scare scenes that are allied with timely sound effects to create an unexpected reaction) along the way. However, while not all of them are good, they are always well-intentioned and also worth mentioning: The outcomes each carries are supported by creative intelligence, being responsible for the various alternative endings that often streamline the game.

The Pixel Empire

Until Dawn is a game that, though full of clichés of the genre on which it is based, is very competent in most respects because it is so well produced and developed with wit because it can really hold the audience's attention without having to make much effort. to make it happen... That is, it is a convincing, fun (for those who enjoy horror games) and attractive work.
