Welcome commanders! Today we will be discussing how with just 10 minutes of your time each day you can put an extra 0.3 Ethereum in your pocket every month! Now I don’t know about you but when I was a starving college student i'd have killed for an opportunity like this one. Even if it was just beer money with the boys! Now I know what you're thinking, but StarChild how is this possible? It’s ok guys chill, you don’t need an education to play video games!

Welcome to the world of crypto my friends. The only place you can truly own your in-game assets! You may freely buy, sell and trade game assets both internally and via a third party of your choice plus not end up in an endless battle with PayPal over a fraudulent charge-back from shady clientele. These perks alone should have your attention, especially if you lost thousands of dollars selling gold in traditional games like I did due to PayPal's lack of digital goods protection.

As you may have guessed, today we will be looking at one specific block-chain based game called Crypto Space Commanders (CSC). Now this game is more of a hybrid build as it takes the core elements of traditional games, reducing gas costs and network congestion by performing the majority of micro-tasks off chain. However, it also utilizes the block-chain to maintain asset integrity allowing users to mint their assets on the eth chain as an ERC-721 token (Fancy talk for collectible/NFT). In doing so they have opened up their user base to those who do not understand crypto currencies. You don‘t need to understand it to use it!

Currently while in its alpha stages of development, you may mine ore from asteroids, refine ore, craft components, complete various missions & more. We’re going to dive right in and focus specifically on combat-based missions against various NPC’s. We will go over what you need to succeed, what you can do to reach maximum efficiency and how you can use mission rewards to cash out Ethereum.

In order to achieve optimal gains using this method you will want at least a Corsair class ship capable of combat. My personal recommendation would be the Star Trek Voyager. This ship can house 8 hard-points which is superior to most combat focused Corsair class ships even and it has unmatched speed making battle and travel distance a breeze. Hard-points are required slots to mount weapon modules so you can see how these are vital. This ship also boasts a partial active ablative armor, which is a special ability no other ships of its tier have. With the market trending around 0.6 Ethereum for this limited edition ship its quite a bang for your buck. The cons to this build are you require high DPS (damage per second) to make it work otherwise it cannot beat the hardest enemy NPC’s. You will need Exotic damage weaponry with high damage output such as concentrated neutron beams, which will end up bumping your expenses to around 1.5 Eth to outfit this ship.

Alternatively, you could purchase a Prometheus class Destroyer which is my preferred ship for this strategy. While extremely slow (not even exaggerating its insanely slow), this war ship boasts 80 module slots with 10 hard-points and doesn’t require overpowered modules to defeat any NPC. This ship can be outfitted with Reaper D1 energy beams and Quantum Refractory beams to reach high damage output and top of the line shield recharging without power consumption concerns or fear of overload in battle.

My build consists of 30K shield power, 800 shield recharge and more than enough energy power. Boasting 8 Reaper D1s, one Phoenix Hellfire Xr1 and a single Emp for instant shield take downs it's a force to be reckoned with. Due to its extreme lack of speed, for this ship to reach the efficiency needed to pull 0.3 eth a month with minimal effort you will require a micro jump drive in your build. This allows the destroyer to instantly jump to mission locations within 1 light-year at the cost of 300 TCF (Trilite fuel). 1 canister provides 2000 trilite fuel and is typically available on market for around 14k GRP (galactic reputation pips) which is easily covered with a very small portion of mission rewards. In doing so you travel instantly to all missions, typically clear them in 5-10 minutes maximum and can instantly jump to a gate to claim the station rewards swiftly. This build will cost roughly 1.2 eth total for the ship and modules.

So how do we turn mission rewards into eth? This strategy focuses on very specific missions. While there are many missions to choose from and they reset every 8 hours, we focus on only high yield missions and ignore the rest. Joining the discord group, you will typically see active people such as myself sharing high reward mission locations in the chat. Keep notifications on and simply do missions with a yield of 50K GRP or higher only and of course, while you travel or if you're actively playing, return the favour by sharing what you've found with others as well. With current ratios 100k GRP is worth 0.01 eth roughly and some missions pay up to 150k GRP for completion. Performing only high yield missions using a jump drive, you can expect an average yield of 100k GRP per mission and a 10-minute time-frame on these missions using my destroyer build. Easy math, 10 minutes a day, 30 days a month, 3 Million grp you could sell, subtract minor costs for fuel expenses of course.

Keep in mind this is doing the very minimum, if you actively play because it's quite a fun game to be honest, you can be pulling 1 million Grp a day and thus have your entire ship investment and modules completely paid off plus a profit in your first two week. Not fast enough for you? Ya I get it, its work, but no one said anything was free in life and at least this is entertaining, not back breaking! Not to mention if you're a bit more daring like I am, you can play the market. This is where it gets interesting. Assets are priced in Ethereum directly, GRP or GFC which means there's always arbitrage opportunities if you look for them! Trading the market, buying module dumps grinders do who go hardcore on missions that reward select mods all day can be useful as well. I bought 100 capacitors at a measly 1K GRP each from someone's mission reward dump stash and flipped it all in 3 days selling at 10K each which at the time was half of the listed market value. I sort of live inside the market nowadays but everyone will find what their good at. Maybe you're not a fighter and prefer transport missions. I personally just find these to be slower, less interesting and less time efficient!

If you like to have fun all profits aside, start out cheap and checkout their starter bundles. My recommendation is not to buy the two cheaper ones though as you will have an insanely hard time progressing from beginner stages. (been there done that)

Now you know how to add an extra 0.3 eth give or take to your holdings each month. I hope to see you all among the stars and of course getting drunk in space!

Love,
StarChild
