Dear veggie lovers,
Due to the mild recent winters in Europe we have the Colorado beetle on our potatoe field again.
In our organic garden we are now hunting this Colorado beetle and its larves. Although we use crop rotation they have found where the potatoes are planted this year. I bet they smell them.
All pics except the first are from the organic garden facebooksite that we have and owned by m
With some volunteers we walk through the field and drown them in a pot with water although the grown up ones can swim quite good ….
This is us:
Apart from these the rest is doing great. First beans are ready and check the tomatoes that only have to get some colour on the cheeks still, (type is Roma)
type is ???
and nice to sea is Always the snijbiet (? cut- biet leaves ?)
As you see the English terms are not known to me although I speak English for 25 years already professionally.
Enjoy
