Thanks for the reply.
I actually get more dragon flies than butterflies. I have no idea where they plant their eggs, so I worry that when I do all the weeding, I worry that I might pull out that plant they used. But, I've seen about 4-6 this year, so they are still around.
The lesson I learned this year, is that my tomatoes are going to be planted in the Front Micro-Garden and in bigger grow bags on the Grilling Deck. And I will setup the drip systems on the Front Micro-Garden and the Grilling Deck.
Also, I think I am going to mix all my container soil with manure in the fall and try to come up with a plan for putting on fertilizer one a month. I wish I had spent a little more time maintaining my gardens this year.
That sounds like a great plan. I wish you luck with your tomatoes also. I haven't seen many dragon flies in my area so I am not sure what their habits are. I'm still waiting for my tomatoes to start turning, seems like I have just been growing green tomatoes for a long time now.
The waiting is the hardest part.
Especially if your green tomato gets some sort of rot before it turns red.
Yep the waiting oh the waiting it kills me. Seems like I stopped watching for them to turn red and just noticed I have a red one finally. :)
