harvest snapshot

This is yesterday's harvest:

  • sweet corn
  • butternut pumpkin
  • leek
  • zuccini
  • apple
  • voluntary potatos
  • pepermint and other herbs for tea

The potatos are hilarious, I know.
I had 0 work with them, though.
they just popped up from crop that I missed during last year's harvest.
The leek is also on the small side, but it was starting to shoot flowers, so I had to harvest some.

Sort:

Nicht schlecht. Sieht alles gut aus. Dann mal guten Appetit 😄

Don't throw the zucchini flowers. They're very tasty 🙂

Didn't know, tbh.

They're amazing as long as they're fresh. You can stuff them with rice and do them in the oven or fry them with flour, its great stuff! Doesn't last for long in the fridge though.

My zuccinis are still shooting flowers, but winter is coming.
I might try that!

Definitely and let us know when you do.

the closed one in the background? dip it in batter and fry?

Both can do the job. That's one way, but you can also do them in the oven, stuffed or not. Oven makes them more sweet. You can also dip them in yogurt or mayonnaise ore similar dip afterwards. Bon appetit!

excellent harvest friend I hope you enjoy it and you can continue growing many more plants.

Man, that just looks fantastic! Looks like a good thing to have: your own garden :)

looking sharp for a decent dinner for sure! Nice harvest there dude, good reasons not to visit the supermarket anymore.

And when they end up too small -> vegetable soup!

Congratulations.
Enjoy your harvest.

Du hast wenigstens etwas. Ich bin voll auf Brennesseln und Pilze angewiesen. ;)
