In the beginning there was grass, and weeds, and a mole and the gulfcoastgardner said, " I am sick of all of this yard work and getting nothing out of it!" So the shrubs in the front of the house were torn out and replaced with blue berry bushes. And the gulfcoastgardner said " If I have to trim the hedges, I may as well be able to have a snack while I am at it! The gulfcoastgardner saw that this was good and tastey and satisfying. Thus began a slow, methodical, speratic trasformation. Please join me, Tony (aka gulfcoastgardner), and who ever is around at the moment as we continue to evolve our garden and yard into a fun and relaxing space while learning what we like, do not like, and what we never knew we loved.
And yes, there is still a mole.
