We were musing today that we will probably have a metric assload of tomatoes all within a 2 week period. Better start planning now!

I actually prefer to have a crop come in all at once. I do a single, or maybe 2, processing and that food is done for the year. But then, I am doing food for a whole year, so it's simpler that way.

Oh yes a whole raft of roma tomatoes would be solid. There is no processing of beefsteak and it looks as if those and the Big Beef ones are going to be ready at the same time as the early girls. People getting surprise tomatoes delivered around here.
