Using a sheet/cardboard to hold the soil temporarily and innoculating with mycorrhizal are definitely pro tips. I like the respect you give to your new trees :) Thanks for this well thought out and organized guide.

Thanks for the reply, although don't know if ive gone pro yet...😄 Too many lost piles of earth have disappeared for me not to save the soil. And as always allying with microbes makes all life better.
