Its been a wet and rainy week, but its got much warmer again and we had some sun as well. In the week as I was adding some kitchen scraps to the heap a little worm fell out so thats a good sign.

The grapes have finally given in! An aubergine has made an appearance but it looks to be fairly well on the way already. Shredded paper is taking a while but thats to be expected.

Excellent pics @steevc. How long has the second one been going, looks like its still got a bit to go on those tougher bits (are they woodchips?).
The woodchips are from the chicken bedding. Some of that stuff may have been there a couple of years. This is why it's good to have multiple bins so you always have them at different stages.
