Photo of the day: Tomatoes in November

in #gardenjournal2 years ago

The end of October, Halloween time, but in my garden no pumpkins :(
Last year, there were many of them, this year, for some reason, there were just few, very bad. Not good even for carving, not to mention eating.

But tomatoes, those surprised me; though everything else from the garden is already picked, used and gone (except some flowers) they are still alive and well.

This is second season for them, some are still green and will we ready for salad some days in November. Grateful to have them and can pick up lunch just before eating it.
They survived extreme heats, rains, a lot of bugs, my guess is that only sudden very cold weather and/or snow could destroy them.
Nature is amazing <3
