Thank you so much! Glad you liked my plant pots
I also do manual removal of cabbage moth caterpillars and cutworms although I'm big on encouraging predators to my garden: giant centipedes and corn crickets for the slugs and snails and I have a lot of ladybugs, lacewings and hoverflies working on the aphids. I leave the spiders and wasps and other predators to do their thing so my garden gets a little scary for those who don't like big ugly insects and arthropods. I also have a resident snake :)
When it comes to cutworms, I try to get my seeds planted very early, before they are active. Unfortunately my cats are too avid bird hunters for them to spend much time in the garden and take care of the worms

I love love love that you're getting insects to do the work for you and you're so attentive of them! That's amazing. Darn cats - they are lovely creatures but not if you want birds in your garden!
The cats take care of the rats and mice so it's a trade-off
As long as they're earning their keep!
They certainly do. There are major rat problems in the area
