A few days ago, gay pride was celebrated in several countries of the LGBT community, which is a day where several people from different parts of the world gather. Before the society is a common day and current as over the years has come open the minds of people who tend to be homophobic (of course there are still people homophobic) but do not know what is in itself the meaning of the LGBT community; Here I leave the meaning
The acronym LGBT are those that identify the words lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender, which is also a movement that was formed by the struggle for equality rights for these minority sexual communities. The LGBT community is called social and political activities and initiatives that fight for tolerance and against homophobic discrimination and violence. This community seeks to recognize and equalize the rights of the people who represent that movement.
Now in these communities, there are what are homoparental families, which are families formed by people of the same sex and have children, here I leave the definition.
A homoparental family is one in which the members of a same-sex couple become the progenitors of one or more children. It should be noted that the Greek prefix homo means the same, as the words homosexual, homologous or homonymous. The homoparental couples can be of fathers or mothers because they have adopted a child, through surrogate motherhood or as a consequence of artificial insemination in the case of women.
Not all people agree with these families, and in many countries they do not recognize them as well as marriage of equal gender.
Now this type of people who do not support this community or the homoparental family and like to discriminate against people who like people of the same sex, are called HOMOPHOBIC.
What is homophobia ?, simple here is the answer
Homophobia is fear, hatred, distrust or discomfort in front of lesbian, gay or bisexual people. The "biphobia" is fear, hatred, distrust or discomfort in front of people who are specifically bisexual. Similarly, transphobia is fear, hatred, distrust or discomfort in front of transgender, intergender or people who do not follow traditional gender norms.
Homophobia can take different forms, including negative attitudes and beliefs, aversion or prejudice against bisexual, lesbian or gay people. In general, they are based on an irrational fear and misunderstandings. The homophobia of some people may be rooted in deeply held conservative religious beliefs. Some people may have homophobic beliefs if they were inculcated by their parents or relatives.
Homophobes can use offensive language or insults to refer to lesbian or gay people. Biphobes can tell bisexual people that they "just seek attention" or that, in reality, they are infidels by nature. In its most extreme forms, homophobia and biphobia can cause people to have intimidating, abusive or violent behaviors with bisexual, lesbian and gay people.
Some lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or in doubt people suffer discrimination because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. This discrimination may come from religious, business or government institutions. For example, same-sex couples who are not allowed to marry; people who are dismissed from a job because they are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or in doubt; or people who are not allowed to access certain types of housing.

No matter the people have different tastes, that is not a reason to not respect it and get to discriminate. I say today
