The Arab Spring was never Arab and had nothing to do with Spring, the season, this caricature from 2012 explains the main idea of the so-called Arab Spring brilliantly:
The whole idea was to take over the Arab world, not the monarchies where US bases are already present, rather the countries that the US needs to have presence, the Arab countries with national armies which its basic ideology is to liberate Palestine and return the land to its owners, those countries were the main target of the Pentagon's plot nicknamed 'Arab Spring' and nothing can be useful than ignorant brainwashed morons stuffed with the Wahhabi doctrine, the US/ Saudi/ British version of Islam which itself stems from the British older Muslim Brotherhood version of Islam.
The ideal candidate to rule was the Islamist regime of Erdogan, and the ideal candidate was Erdogan himself, his country miraculously was injected with billions of dollars of investments even though the Europeans blocked the Turkish entry to their bloc, and soon enough branches for the Turkish AKP party, the Erdogan's party were founded in the targeted countries, except Syria.
Syrians have a special sensitivity toward BS and can sense it hundreds of miles away, that's why more than 350,000 terrorists were shipped to Syria from all over the world over the past decade to bring 'democracy' and 'freedom' to the last secular country in the region, and we know the rest of the story.
