But, but, but...wait. I kinda do want men to open the door for me...sometimes. I think? Something seems appealing about it. Only if they do everything just right though. And it would need to be the right sort of man, the type of man that I would feel comfortable opening doors for me. Actually, ideally I'd feel honored by him doing it it. That would be cool. I think I might like that.
The right sort of man doing this the right way would make me want to want to have the door opened for me! So really the problem is that most men do it wrong, and that some of them are just creepy losers. If men would just be smarter and better, this would not be an issue, ever! Then they would get to open doors for me too. I know they like that. All they have to do is cause me to want them to open the door, before they ever start trying that shit on me. Good lord, is this really so complicated or hard?

On a serious note..
The fear is real I'm sure, but projection isn't helpful, not for the person projecting nor for the recipient of the projection. Even if the projectee accepts the projection, all men in this case, it might make the projector, these two women, feel a bit better after a sugary snack of resentment and moral righteousness in the short term, but it reinforces a self-written narrative of a lack of power and agency, which really sucks in the long term. Worse it creates a negative feedback loop. Things get continually worse rather than better after each cycle. The projectee, men in the case, will eventually give up owning the projection and become bitter and resentful too.
Our greatest opportunities for growth are those times when we realize we are wrong about something. If we are right about everything, nothing in our life can ever change.
When the decadent and spoiled have nothing to protest about , they'll make something up , to fill a void in their life....A real purpose.
