STEEM: Helping The World: NGO Now On STEEM Blockchain!!!!

The potential of blockchain, and STEEM in partitcular, is enormous.

One of the most valuable aspects of STEEM is the community. There are so many people on here who see the ability of blockchain to change the world. What is exciting is that there are many projects which are already starting up that might do that.

A NGO is a non-governmental organization. These are usually ones that have a "social" agenda in the sense they deal with society or human needs. They are meant to be a bridge between government and the people who they help. Ideally, their goal is not to make money for the sake of making money but to help others. Sadly, as we saw with Freddie and Fannie, two US based NGOs, this can be corrupted. Nevertheless, many look to operate for the benefit of humanity.

STEEM now has DNGO in the blockchain. This is a project that is starting which is designed to help humanity. Their goal is to put together projects that can raise monies to assist others. They are using the STEEM blockchain because it has the content/reward system already in place along with the ability to curate. This fits in well with their first project which is call DNGO Books.

What is DNGO Books? It is a program where people create audio books to be compiled in an archive and used by people all over the world. It mainly applies to those visually impaired. The incentive is the reward system that STEEM has in place. This also allows DNGO to curate this blockchain to raise money for other projects or direct donations.

I know I am repeating myself here but I am continually amazed at the creativity that keeps showing up on this blockchain. The ideas people come up with really is showing the potential of humanity. While many are focusing upon all the bots created and how that is destroying STEEM, I prefer to look at other things people are doing.

STEEM is not being destroyed. Sure there are some issues but there is a lot of development going on. The fact that there is a proven content/reward system in place is very appealing to many organizations. DNGO figured out a way to apply this to its business model.

Cryptocurrency has the ability to create wealth for most of humanity. It is one of the shifts we are seeing towards the Age of Abundance. It is time for all to cast off the scarcity mindset. Projects like this will helps all of us to realize the potential there is to solve a great many of the world's problems. Here is a group that decided to tackle the inability of many to access quality audio materials.

There is no better time to start giving than right now. We are seeing so many opportunities arise on the STEEM blockchain that can really move the world forward. It is just finding what interests you and getting involved. Since we own STEEM, the alternative benefit is that it also helps ourselves. Projects like DNGO, if successful, will only make the STEEM blockchain more valuable.

It is a good deal all around.

Greetings, taskmaster

Excellent post man. What I think is cool in stech's blockchain is that several programs can be run.

I think this can add value, both to the steem currency and to the steemit social network, bringing more people here, because with another application that releases the steem, I imagine that more people will know what steemit is.

Thank you very much for the publicity and the help that gave the community in this post.

Good Morning!

This concept that everybody can make money "without working" makes a lot of confusion even to people with a good academic degrees. So it doesn't surprise me that we took so many years to reach this hype point, and if we need one more decade to reach an incredible change in how things work in the world, I think it is a wait that we will all wait with pleasure, because after crypto potential gets released the world will change inevitably (it will never be the same).

I agree that a huge change in mindset needs to take place. People are indoctrinated into believing that slavery is a good thing. Sure, the establishment does not call it slavery but that is exactly what it is. People are basically robbed of their lives in an effort to survive. Now, as even the payoff is not there in the western cultures, the entire facade is starting to fade. Yet there are many who still hold onto their beliefs.

Crypto is going to change the world simply because the financial resources will be available to all.

Exacly!!
I recently heard this expression from my professor of Public Finance: Do men want to be free or just say they want to be free? (We were discussing the intervinence of the gouvernaments. When the state isn´t present people look for help, for someone to control them, that´s how their mindset is programed)

Dear @taskmaster4450

Many thanks for your kind and flattering words, we are deeply happy that our message is resonating with people like you. We are always open to ideas, suggestions and contributions in order to develop DNGO. Everyone is invited to be part of this social experiment.

Great article @taskmaster i really see positive things flourishing already through funding on this platform, hairshares for one. I hope many more possitive aplications will take off and fly in the near future too

I’m pretty sure that the people who risk their lives volunteering with Médecins Sans Frontières don’t have a sinister agenda.

Which is to tar all of them, and everyone in them, with the same brush. I'm with @preparedwombat (and suspicious of the Bannonesque phrase "deep state"). Let us not be naive about NGOs, but let us not be overly cynical either.

Agreed 100 % , NGO's are pure evil
