The seconds count up to minutes
minutes makes the hours
The hours pile up and form the days
the days make the weeks
The weeks add up to months
and the months to years.
Fresh, glowing and younger today
old, weak tomorrow
Drastically, years upon years
in age we increase
and the break of the dawn
in a twinkle goes by.
The bustling and buzzing daylights
becomes still nightfalls
The energized and young morning
brightened by the sun
turns the calm and dark dusk
of coloured shining stars.
How they say, "Time awaits no man"
and tick-tock its race
gather the green and leafy hay
while the sun is bright
because the dark night comes
when no man can work.
