If there is any Africa Steemit based event that's worthy of support by all and sundry, it is Steemit In Nigeria Conference. From the much I know about Steemit In Nigeria (SIN) Conference, it is a trailblazer and pathfinder; the first ever event that sparked off a series of steem based meetups, workshops, competitions and all sorts of steem based meetings happening all over Africa and in Nigeria particularly.
SIN conference is a yearly event organized by @ehiboss of @genesisproject, a subcommunity within larger Nigeria community. It is to Africans what @steemfest event is to the world. The first ever SIN conference tagged SIN1 conference was held at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile I felt, Osun State and has remained the talk of the town ever since. It was at SIN1 event that Nigerians discovered the importance of holding offline steemit based event to growth within steem ecosystem. And have since embraced it with open arms following a series of meetups that have taken place in different states of Nigeria Federation.
Goals of Steemit In Nigeria Conference
For those who don't know, the primary goals of SIN conference includes:
Steemivangelism: just like the primary focus of project @euronation, steemivangelism is the foremost objective of SIN conference. Thousands of Nigerians came onboard Steemit following the success of SIN1 event last year.
Investors steem education: SIN conference is not about steemivangelism and onboarding of newbies, those who do not have blogging skills are taught how to become steem investors and profit massively. And I believe this must have been the major reason why SIN2 will be held in Abuja which is the main base of Nigeria moneybags.
Social integration: SIN conference is the biggest and highest attended steemit based event in Africa. This year event will be attended by Steemians from all over the world. So if you want to have a handshake with your favorite whales, this is the place to meet them.
Much have been done in promoting steemit in Nigeria. And a lot still need to be done in this regard, and we will never rest until Nigeria becomes a top player in steem ecosystem. @euronation community supports SIN2 conference mainly because of the caliber of the person behind it. @ehiboss is one Nigerian Steemian that's damn selfless in things concerning the success of steem in Nigeria. And I have no doubt that this year's event will be even more successful than that of last year.
According to @ehiboss in this post, the whole event has been estimated to gulp $9000. We need everyone support to make this biggest steem event in African continent a huge success. The date is **30th October — 4th November, 2018. And the event official website is www.sinofficial.com.
