RE: Meanwhile, back in the Real World ...

It is interesting that you look at a valuable technology company as something to hold onto.
Few Israelis see it this way.

New technology startups are being created all the time in Israel. Experienced Tech Founders sell one company for hundreds of millions and then found another one which they develop and then sell off in a few years for more.

It is like harvesting cork or grapes, you sell it and then it grows back and you sell it again. Innovative people, especially experienced founders, are an endlessly renewable and productive resource.

There is some discussion in the Israeli tech space that companies should not exit and should instead continue to grow and become very large companies.
Some do this, but most exit at some point.

The reality is that large companies struggle to innovate internally, which is why Google etc have to buy-in innovation from outside for such huge sums.

Far more innovation and thus ultimately $$$ is created by Exit Model.

I think that Turkish-produced drones also played a role in Azerbaijan's victories, but Israeli drones were a more major contribution.
